Actors & Actresses : Jerry Yan (Dao Ming Si) & Qu Zhong Heng (Ah Yuan)

The started when Shan Cai was kidnapped by Ah Sun and the purpose was to take revenge on Dao Ming Si. Dao Ming Si was badly injured by the few guys and when he fainted, the scene reflect back to the time when Dao Ming Si was still a very bad-tempered and rash guy.

It was at a pub when Dao Ming Si had a fight with a few guys from the same school. It was meant to be a revenge on Dao Ming Si but eventually every of the guys were badly injured by Dao Ming Si especially one of the guy was beaten till his internal organs break. The person's parents were angry and therefore wanted to sue Dao Ming Si. Dao Ming Si however at this time was still enjoying life at a new pub with the other F3(Vic, Vanness & Ken). When all 3 of them knew about this, they immediately asked Dao Ming Si to ask his mother for help as whenever Dao Ming Si is in trouble, his mother will always use money to solve it. Dao Mig Si this time round refused to get help from her mother and eventually he run away from home.

While hiding from the polices in the train, Dao Ming Si jumped off the train and hurt his leg. He was badly injured and therefore fainted at the beach nearby. At this time, he was saved by a little girl, Xin Xin who never speak. Dao Ming Si finally wake up after 2 days of unconscious and he found himself in an old house along the beach and the family consists of the little girl, Xin Xin & a father, Ah Yuan. In the beginning, Dao Ming Si seemed to reject their help but eventually he decided to stay there to recuperate his injurys. To hide his own identity, he named himself Ah Si.

Eventually, he lived in harmony with the family as Xin Xin likes Ah Si a lot. Ah Si always thought that Ah Yuan & Xin Xin are one family but he never expect a story behind this. Xin Xin was actually a abandoned child from her mother and since then her father has been beating her so badly and always asking this poor little girl to kneel outside the house. Ah Yuan who was her neighbour find her very pityful and when Ah Yuan's wife also run away from home as well as when he lost his job at the same time, he decided to run away with Xin Xin. However since, Xin Xin has never talked. No matter how hard Ah Yuan tried, she will not talk.

After spending some times with them, Ah Si decided to go home. He went to call her mother but was tailed by the police. This led to a tragedy. Ah Yuan has to leave the place and run away with Xin Xin as it is illegal to run away with other people's child. Ah Si apologised and he make promises to Ah Yuan that he will come back to this house to repay them on that particular day and he asked Ah Yuan to come back. However on that day, Ah Yuan saw no one at the house and accidentally he met police there and finally he was caught. Dao Ming Si arrived at the house late and saw no one. At last, when Dao Ming Si was with the other F3, they saw the meteor rain as the 3 of them reflects their memeories.

Highlights : This version of Dao Ming Si is the most complicated and it looks like to towards the continuously of Meteor Garden more than story before then. Maybe because of his long hair [ehh!! i thought his hair should be standing up] and his more quiet character [remember he is suppose to be really arrogant, moody and 19yrs old!! he look more like his real age] results the impact of his acting skills hidden. Yes we love F4 but then we won't blindly say things to twist the truth. Though he looks good with the half unbutton shirt [hmmm...]and the turtle neck sweaters [wow!!]but we prefer it will come together with well planned script and screenplay with a little bit more convincing and able to bring us back to this special moment of his life. No doubt the story at whole is nice...just that there are too many missing puzzle left in our head!
